Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a fever dream of a Mario game, with eight worlds — six main worlds, a hub world that doubles as the final boss fight world, and a special world made up of the hardest levels in the game. Beating the game’s main story is no small feat, and getting a 100% completion on it is kind of a monumental task.
Let’s talk about how long Super Mario Bros. Wonder takes to beat (including how long it takes to do everything the game has to offer) and how many levels there are.

To progress through the main story worlds of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, you’ll need to collect a series of Wonder Seeds. You’ll need increasing numbers of them to unlock paths and levels in your quest to retrieve Royal Seeds and stop Bowser.
If you’re going for the minimum number and just mainlining the story, it’ll take you a little less than

features a large world map (much like the map in the original
Super Mario World
) that’s broken down into smaller worlds that typically feature 5-8 courses (along with several different types of bonus levels such as Lucy, Toad, and Mystery houses) and boss arenas. The various worlds are connected through interdimensional clear pipes that send you to the next area. At the start of the game, you’ll progress through six initially available worlds.

World 2 – Desert World (Five Courses)
World 3 – Snow World (Seven Courses)
World 4 – Mountain World (Five Courses)
World 5 – Beach World (Seven Courses)
World 6 – Cloud World (Seven Courses)
Admittedly, those names are ours and not Nintendo’s official descriptions, but you get the idea. When you beat those six worlds, you’ll unlock two final “Boss” worlds:
Castle World (Seven Courses)
Bowser World (Eight Courses)
While that’s quite a bit of content by
Super Mario
standards, the fun doesn’t end there. When you’ve completed Bowser World, you’ll unlock the abi

You may have heard of the infamous Minus World in

To give you an idea of what some of these glitched worlds look like, here's World 68-3:
Yes, that's Mario swimming through the sky and a flying headless Bowser. Levels like this are what you can come to expect from this glitch. You'll notice that it doesn't say "World 68-3", but instead "World
Blue Dotted Square
-3". This is because that dotted square is the 68th texture in the game, and that text box is simply programmed to display the texture corresponding to the world number. So how do you perform this glitch?
