World market white marsh opening date
Alameda, Calif. – Home furnishings chain World Market is opening new locations for the first time since it was acquired by a private equity firm in 2021.
The specialty retailer recently grand opened its newest store in the Stephanie Street Shopping Center in Henderson, Nev. The new 15,138-sq.-ft. unit is located at 535 N. Stephanie St., anchored between Michaels and PetSmart in the shopping center. This is World Market‘s 5th location in Nevada.
“This opening is the beginning of an exciting season for World Market, with 5 more stores launching nationwide in October and November,” said CEO Eric Hunter.
In July, the nameplate opened a new store at the Rookwood Commons & Pavilion in Cincinnati. The 14,500-sq.-ft. unit is located at 2692 Madison Road, Suite D1 next door to Sierra Trading Post and Mitchell’s Salon & Spa in the shopping center. It is the 8th World Market location in Ohio. It joins 7 other locations in the state, including Akron, Dublin, North Canton, Westlake as well as 3 existing units in the Columbus area.

The first store opening under the current ow
NOTTINGHAM, MD — A new store selling home decor and international food is now open in Nottingham.
This is the first Baltimore County location for World Market, located in The Avenue at White Marsh. It's also Maryland's second World Market. The other is in Rockville. Headquartered in California, World Market has 239 stores in 38 states.
"World Market is excited to be opening our second store in the state of Maryland," World Market President Eric Hunter said in an April 20 press release. "We believe THE AVENUE at White Marsh is the perfect location to introduce our unique brand to the Baltimore area. We look forward to growing our customer base here for years to come."

The Avenue announced Monday that World Market is now open. A ribbon-cutting will kick off the grand opening Thursday at 10 a.m.
Customers who make the first 100 transactions each day from Thursday through Sunday will get a free tote bag. There will be food and drink samples, giveaways and more throughout the weekend for all customers.

World Market to open in May in White Marsh
WHITE MARSH, Md. — The Avenue at White Marsh announced that World Market, a home decor store, will open May 9.
World Market has more than 200 locations nationwide and one other Maryland location, in Montgomery County.
A ribbon-cutting will take place at the new White Marsh store at 10 a.m. May 9.
There will be free food and drink tastings, giveaways throughout the day.
The weekend will feature grand opening activities, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 11, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 12.

World Market, a retail chain specializing in a variety of products from all over the world, Wednesday announced the grand opening of a new location at The Avenue at White Marsh in Baltimore County.
The retailer secured a lease for a 15,000-square-foot space at 8125 Honeygo Blvd., its second in Maryland, joining its store in Rockville. The White Marsh location will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday at 10 a.m.
World Market operates 240 stores is known for its assortment of furniture, home décor, gifts and one of the largest assortments of candy and international food favorites imported from more than 50 countries. The specialty retailer has been regularly supplied by an international network of individual and regional artisans developed over the company’s more than 50 years in the import business.
