How To Transfer A Valheim World Save
Want to move your Valheim world to another computer or server? Whether you're upgrading to dedicated hosting or just sharing progress with a friend, transferring a Valheim world is easier than it sounds. All your progress: builds, terrain changes, and world data, is saved in a small set of files you can copy and paste.
In this guide, we'll show you how to transfer Valheim world to dedicated server. This is very easy since Valheim saves are usually stored in their default location on your computer files. Even when a new world is created, you will still find the files in the exact location.

Import Valheim World to your Valheim Server
You can import your Valheim world, from either another server or your client, by changing the contents of the directory on your server. You may want to import your world to transfer settings that can only be set on the client, or to save your progress from another server, but in either case the process can be simple if you know what steps to take.
