has filed for the name for a variety of products. The title ties in with the previous news that we’re heading into a new era of the franchise as previous stars are left behind. That’s unsurprising, given the general disdain for the bloated
Jurassic World Dominion
.
The Creator
and
Godzilla
filmmaker,
Gareth
Edwards
, will direct
Jurassic World 4
. Not too much is currently known about the movie other than the fact it will be a brand new one separate from the
Chris Pratt
-starring entries. It’s officially described as
“a completely fresh take launching a new Jurassic era, following three adults and three teens getting stuck on the Island.”
It’s being pushed as a new era for the franchise, so hopefully it will also move away from the
Jurassic Park
entries as well.

GEEK GOSS: Title for next Jurassic World revealed in trademark application
After a trademark application was submitted by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, it seems the title for the fourth Jurassic World movie has been revealed.
According to documents shared on uspto.report, the companies have filed a trademark registration which is 'intended to cover the categories of entertainment services in the nature of a film series, television series, short form entertainment content, videos and podcasts in the field of news, sports, comedy, drama, music and variety content'.
The filing also covers entertainment services to produce and distribute the project, water- and theme-park services, events, graphics and games.
So, what is the name that has had a trademark application filed? Well, it's Jurassic World: Rebirth.
Geek Ireland spoke to our resident DinoGuy, Sean Markey, about the possibility that this is in fact for the upcoming film and not another project, and he seems to believe that this is indeed the case.
