to everyone who made WCNA 38 so powerful. We hope that all of us who were touched by the WCNA experience bring that Power of Love home to our communities and use that energy to reach out just a little bit more than we did before. Addicts all over the world are dying to hear our message, and we each have work to do!
As you may have heard, registration was well below our projected break-even point. We typically include a financial accounting of the convention in the Annual Report.
We’re not sure where and when the next world convention will be held. The 2023 World Service Conference passed the following motion with consensus:
As a result of the COVID pandemic, to suspend the World Convention of NA (WCNA) rotation policy after 2024, to allow the World Board to determine what is possible and practical moving forward and then seek approval from conference participants.

The
World Convention
will be in Washington, DC August 29 through September 1. Registration and hotel blocks are now open. The price of registration is $175 per person, and 24,000 registrations are needed to break even. Because of the configuration of the main meeting room, seating will be assigned in sections. Those who register at around the same time will probably be seated in the same sections. We held one workshop in Capital Area, have one planned in Greater Sandhills Area, and are tentatively doing one in Greensboro Area. How much is the registration fee to attend the 2025 International Convention?
The General Service Board has approved the 2025 International Convention fee so that when registration opens in September of 2024, it will cost $160.00 (USD) per person. On
April 15th, 2025
, the price will increase to $185.00 (USD), where it will remain that price for those registering on site when the convention begins.
