New world runeglass

Crossbow - Daggers

What are Runeglass Gems

Runeglass gems are augmentations to the cut pristine version of a gem. The runeglass version will provide you with additional bonuses such as leeching, additional damage, mana syphoning and more.

They can be crafted at a stonecutting table, and require 180 stonecutting to craft. Each of the gems will also require a runeglass case. The case can be crafted at a forge, and requires 180 weaponsmithing skill to craft. The case dictates the additional effects of the gem.

If you’re looking for what gems to use in a particular build, you can check the builds section of the website for specific builds.

How to Use Runeglass Gems

To use a runeglass gem you will need to obtain one and slot it into your weapon and / or armor. This works just like any other gem in the game. Upon doing so you will receive the benefits of the gem. Once it is slotted you can not remove it. If you replace it with another gem it will be destroyed.

The effects of the runeglass gems do stack when placed in your armor. Therefore, you could slot all leeching gems, for example, and benefit from each gem slotted.

Do you play New World? The new Brimstone Sands update brought a lot of new things and, among others, new ways to upgrade your gear. Runeglass Gems are a new type of gems in New World that can be slotted into weapons or equipment to increase stat bonuses and add other effects. They are better than Pristine Gems as they will add more bonuses on top of those that the previous best gems did. So, how do you craft Runeglass Gems in New World? Check out our guide below.

How to Get and Use Runeglass Gems in New World?

You create Runeglass Gems by crafting, more precisely by cutting existing Pristine Gems. To do this you will need level 180 Stonecutting as well as a Tier 5 Stonecutting Table. You will also need Runeglass Cases which add different damage-type effects. You need to be a level 180 Weaponsmith to make Runeglass Cases. There are 14 variants:

Weapon Gems #

Diamond or Opal are still the
best to slot in all weapons, in all expeditions.

The DoT’s status effect is based on the Runeglass casings element.

(Surge for Electrified, Hex for Empowering, Burn for Igniting, Poison for Nature)

Each of these can only be applied once per mob.

A coordinate team should run three different types between their players, to ensure everyone benefits from the 8% (or more from scaling) DoT.

Best casing for each mob (with a Diamond or Opal slotted):

– Ancients: Runeglass of Electrified Opal

– Angry Earth: Runeglass of Ignited Opal

– Corrupted: Runeglass of Empowered Opal

– Lost: Runeglass of Arboreal Opal

Armour Gems #

For public runs, we recommend to continue using Cut Pristine Mutation-Specific gems. There is no reason to pay the price of runeglass casing for public runs.

For M10 farmers we recommend Runeglass of Punishing Onyx or Runeglass of Punishing Opal for your armour, to avoid changing gems weekly. however this setup makes you completely reliant on your healer.
Do not attempt to run this in publics, unless you know the h

pvp how are people so resistant?

i dont understand how people have so much resistance. is it simply runeglass in their gear along with perks? but it would have to be main to rune glass right? i dont have that yet. i am yet to craft my own gear as its a big task thats overwhelming me. but in pvp ive picked up general good gear with lots of resistances to damage types. and onyx in most of every slot, overall i have 705 gs as a tank/dps main and i currently have 30% res to slash and i still get hit by these people like im wearing nothing. and i hit them back with my ga with like 2k base damage and i get a blue number of like 600 damage. how can they be that resistant? these high end game players are like untouchable. so what exactly is it? cause its downright frustrating and makes me wanna quit. along with their insane resistance theyre damage is like nothing else as well. they make me as a heavy tank look like im in llight armor.
